Back in America again to start off this evenings session of crossing off some of the beers on the list. Starting off with Shipyard IPA, a 5.8% Amber beer. Tasting notes in the book say “The hops impart grassy, herbal aromas to a primarily malty sweet nose. With a creamy effervescent mouthfeel, the bitter flavours stand out prominently and the finish is very dry and tart.” It’s another nice beer and another good example of an IPA that provides a refreshing alternative to the well known lagers.
